3 Reasons Why This Is The Place To Be On Sundays

Aside from the obvious

St Siandra is a spectacular spot to spend some time on any day of the week, but there’s something extra special about Sundays. And we think we’ve put our finger on it.

#1. Sunday is the new Friday

Come Friday, some of us are more inclined to end the working week by jumping into our Peter Alexanders and crawling into bed early (with a bottle of wine, Uber Eats and Netflix, of course). Which is why Sunday is the new Friday, plus we’re now open for dinner! By then, you’re refreshed, hydrated and ready to roll, after a bit of a sleep in and a pilates session. There’s nothing better than a leisurely long lunch enjoying the afternoon sun, downing a few cheeky glasses of bubbles, and still be home and tucked up at a reasonable hour, ready to face Monday with a smile.

#2. Two words: Champagne buckets

Sundays were made for relaxing. Do that in style with a bucket of chilled Laurent Perrier at your side, as you watch the waves roll over the white sands of our private beach at The Spit. Hold on, you say. Isn’t it a bit much to indulge in a bottle on a whim, without having something to celebrate? Ah, we say, but life is for living and every day is worth celebrating, so it’s the perfect choice as a sipping companion for a chilled Sunday session. Cheers to the good things in life and enjoy every moment!

#3. Up your vitamins via sun & spritzes

Want to dose up on your vitamins in a much more delicious way than popping your daily multi? Consider St Siandra your health retreat with a difference. A spritz in the sun will see you getting vitamin C and D in one hit - clever. Need more vitamin D? Savour a dozen freshly shucked Pacific Oysters - a rich source of D, plus B12, copper, zinc, and manganese. Or order up some vitamin E and iron in our black olive tapenade, and vitamin A and folate in our chickpea hummus with fermented green chilli. Sundays never felt so good, inside and out.
